Lions Training Camp: Ndamukong Suh Might Play Some Defensive End

The Detroit Lions have one of the most talented defensive lines in the NFL, and they are looking to get more creative with those players. One of the plans includes possibly having Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley play some defensive end.

From ESPN.com:

The look can create some confusion and make it more difficult to double-team Suh or whomever else the offense is hoping to neutralize. It also requires defensive tackles who are athletic enough to swing outside, and both Suh and Fairley qualify.

The defensive ends would shift to the inside for this new scheme, which is called "Grey" because of the new Liam Neeson film.

The Lions have not committed to using it for certain in the 2012 season.
