The Detroit Lions are listed as early 7-point underdogs for their Sunday night matchup in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers. OddsShark.com also has the over/under for the game at 46, so plenty of points will still be expected in the showcase game on NBC.
The Lions and Niners enter Week 2 as a pair of very different undefeated teams. San Francisco looked dominant at times during its 30-22 road win over the Green Bay Packers, while the Lions struggled against a weak St. Louis Rams team at home and scratched out a 27-23 victory with late-game heroics.
The 49ers' defense held Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' offense to just 324 total yards, so it will be interesting to see if Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford -- who threw for 355 yards and three interceptions in Week 1 -- can break through against the San Francisco secondary.
