Each expected to suit up on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions cornerbacks Chris Houston and Bill Bentley were both full participants at practice on Thursday according to the team's official injury report.
Bentley continues to recover from a concussion he suffered in Week 1 against the Rams, but was a full participant for the first time at practice after having a limited distinction on Wednesday. The return of Bentley and his fellow defensive back Houston, who went through a full practice for the second straight day while recovering from a sprained ankle, could be a serious boost to a Lions secondary that has struggled mightily against the pass this season.
After sitting out on Wednesday much like he did after Week 1, standout receiver Calvin Johnson was eased back into action as a limited participant on the practice field on Thursday. The Lions currently list Johnson as having a minor ankle injury and may continue to take this approach with him during the year, but the play-making receiver is not expected to miss any actual time with the injury.
