NFL Inactives, Week 3, Lions Vs. Titans; Louis Delmas Out For Detroit, Javon Ringer Out For Tennessee

The Detroit Lions will be without seven players Sunday as they face off against the Tennessee Titans: safety Louis Delmas, tight end Tony Scheffler, defensive end Lawrence Jackson, linebacker Travis Lewis, offensive tackles Corey Hilliard and Jason Fox and quarterback Kellen Moore.

Delmas has been slow to recover from knee surgery he underwent in August. He has yet to play this season. Scheffler has been dealing with a calf injury and did not participate in Lions' practice this week.

The Tennesse Titans also have seven inactive players for Sundays' contest: running back Javon Ringer, linebacker Colin McCarthy, safety Al Afalava, offensive tackle Mike Otto, guard Deuce Lutui, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins and quarterback Rusty Smith.

Ringer practiced this week but has been nursing an infected elbow, and he will not play in Week 3. McCarthy is still out with an ankle injury he suffered in Week 1.
