The Pro Football Hall of Fame's traveling exhibit, "Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame," is scheduled to appear at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich., in the fall of 2014, as Gary Strauss of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The exhibit, which is billed as "the most comprehensive traveling exhibit ever based on the sport," has more than 200 artifacts, photos and other items. Many of the items haven't even been seen outside of Canton, Ohio, where the Hall of Fame is located, as Strauss writes.

The multiyear exhibit is expected to visit most or all of the NFL's 32 franchise cities as well as various other locations throughout the country. Given the struggling economy in recent years, the Hall of Fame and local museums have struggled, with the exhibit being part of an effort to attract more fans going forward.
