Detroit Lions safety Louis Delmas and cornerback Chris Houston are the most notable inactive players on the list for this week's game against the St. Louis Rams. Jacob Lacey will start for Houston and John Wendling will start for Delmas, according to the team website.
The Rams were 25th in the league in passing offense last season, so that should help Detroit's depleted secondary.
Other Lions on the inactive list are quarterback Kellen Moore, linebacker Tahir Whitehead, offensive tackles Jason Fox and Corey Hilliard and receiver Ryan Broyles.
The Rams inactive list includes defensive tackles Darell Scott, Michael Brockers and Matt Conrath, running back Terrance Ganaway, offensive linemen Ty Nsekhe and Shelley Smith and safety Darian Stewart.
The teams play at 1 p.m. Sunday.
