Jonas Jerebko Set To Have Surgery On Friday, Will Miss 5-6 Months

The Pistons released an update on the Jonas Jerebko injury in two separate tweets:

Jerebko suffered a partially ruptured Achilles tendon on his right leg during the first quarter in last night’s game at Miami #pistons

He is scheduled to have surgery on Friday, October 8 and is expected to miss the next five-to-six months. #pistons

This timeline makes more sense given the severity of the injury. The Pistons can only hope now that they make the playoffs and Jerebko's healthy in time.

Terrico White will also have surgery on Friday to repair the broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
