Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Josh Smith finished with a team-high 22 points and 11 rebounds and Al Horford chipped in 18 points, as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Detroit Pistons, 94-85, at Philips Arena to remain the Eastern Conference's only unbeaten team.
Joe Johnson contributed 14 points and eight assists and Marvin Williams added 11 points in the win for the Hawks, who have won their last five meetings with Detroit at Philips Arena.
Ben Gordon finished with 22 points and Tayshaun Prince added 17 points in the loss. Charlie Villanueva added 14 points in a reserve role for the Pistons, who are off to their worst start, 0-5, in 30 years.
