As you know, the Detroit Red Wings have a handful of pretty good Sweden-born players on their roster. However, if you're ever in town and hear the Swedish name Jonas Jerebko, let this video, via SB Nation's Detroit Bad Boys, be a reminder that he is definitely not one of them -- he plays on the Detroit Pistons, and he is the Swedish Happy Gilmore on skates:↵
That fall is a pretty good example of why he shouldn't attempt a career in hockey any time soon.↵
As the video explains, and has been well documented by the local media over his two years in Detroit, Jerebko is pretty good friends with some of his countrymen who do work on the ice (Niklas Kronwall is mentioned in the video, but Henrik Zetterberg was seen at Pistons games after Jerebko was drafted). In the midst of a boring NBA lockout that doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon, why shouldn't Jerebko have a little fun on ice?
