In its final pre-lottery 2011 NBA mock draft, DraftExpress has the Detroit Pistons taking Bismack Biyombo with the seventh overall pick. Biyombo is a 6-foot-9, 240-pound power forward/center from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He would provide the Pistons with another big body to go along with Greg Monroe, their first-round pick last year.
In the second round, DraftExpress has the Pistons selecting Jereme Richmond with the third pick of the round and Andrew Goudelock with the 22nd pick. Richmond is a small forward from Illinois and Goudelock is a point guard from the College of Charleston.
Right now this mock draft is obviously based strictly on win-loss record. After the lottery takes place Tuesday night, the first 14 picks of the 2011 NBA Draft will be set and we will know for sure if the Pistons are picking seventh or higher. The hope is for them to be in the top three, but chances are they will be seventh just like last year.
