Kalin Lucas To Work Out For Pistons On Wednesday

The Detroit Pistons are set to begin individual workouts with potential 2011 NBA Draft picks this week. The first series of workouts will take place on Wednesday, and Michigan State guard Kalin Lucas will be among those in attendance. He will be joined by Cleveland State's Norris Cole, College of Charleston's Andrew Goudelock and UCLA's Malcolm Lee.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about the workouts is that Pistons head coach John Kuester will actually run them. He did not attend the NBA Combine last week in Chicago, but he is planning on being in Auburn Hills to run the workouts with potential picks.

Ever since the season ended there has been much speculation about Kuester's job status. The expectation has been for the Pistons to fire him and move forward with a new head coach, but nothing has happened yet. Perhaps once the sale of the franchise to Tom Gores is complete the Pistons will start making some changes.
