SB Nation's latest 2011 NBA mock draft has arrived. In this version, the Detroit Pistons are predicted to select San Diego State's Kawhi Leonard with the eighth overall pick.
Leonard left San Diego State after his sophomore season. He was the MVP of the 2010 Mountain West basketball tournament and led the conference in rebounding that season.
In 2010-11, Leonard averaged 15.5 points and 10.6 rebounds a game. He also averaged 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals. The 6-foot-7 forward helped lead San Diego State to a 34-3 record and a trip to the Sweet 16, where the Aztecs lost to eventual national champion UConn.
The top seven picks of SB Nation's NBA mock draft are as follows: Kyrie Irving (Cavaliers), Derrick Williams (Timberwolves), Brandon Knight (Jazz), Enes Kanter (Cavaliers), Jonas Valanciunas (Raptors), Bismack Biyombo (Wizards) and Kemba Walker (Kings). After the Pistons' pick, Alec Burks (Bobcats) and Marcus Morris (Bucks) are predicted to round out the top 10.
