The Detroit Pistons announced their 2011 preseason schedule on Thursday. The preseason is set to open on Oct. 9 and come to a close on Oct. 27, so chances are no games will actually be played. With the NBA lockout showing no signs of coming to an end, the assumption is that the regular season will not start on time or potentially be played at all. The preseason almost certainly will not be played barring an unforeseen development in the labor negotiations in the next month.
