Detroit's win over the Indiana Pacers on New Year's Eve gave the Pistons their first victory of the 2011-12 season, but seeking a second straight victory will be a tall order. Detroit hosts the Orlando Magic Monday night at 7:30 p.m., and the Magic have one of the best records in the league so far at 4-1.
Orlando has won four in a row after dropping their season opener, making them one of the hottest teams in the league. Center Dwight Howard had been dominant by averaging 17.4 points and 17 rebounds through five games on the season. Ryan Anderson has been a surprise for them as well, averaging 20.4 points per game. Ben Gordon is currently leading the Pistons at 20 points per game, but Howard will be a very difficult matchup for Detroit to handle.
