Pistons Vs. Grizzlies: Homestand Gives Detroit A Chance At Victory

The Detroit Pistons are back home for a back to back, starting against the Memphis Grizzlies Friday night.

The 2012 season has not been very kind to the Detroit Pistons so far. With a miserable 3-12 record, a complete inability to win on the road and only a single win in their last ten games, it's not a fun time to be a Piston. Fortunately the Pistons have finally come back to The Palace after two games on the road and have a shot at picking themselves up out of a heap Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies are actually one of the hotter commodities in the NBA right now after rattling off four straight wins, including an impressive victory over the Chicago Bulls, albeit without Derrick Rose. Even with those wins, they're still only at a mediocre 7-6 record but are looking to build on that impressive postseason performance that they put together in 2011 by pushing their way to a higher playoff seed in 2012.

The Pistons haven't been great at home this year, but they've at least put together a couple of victories as opposed to their road performances. If they can give the home fans something to smile about again maybe it will boost their confidence going against a harder Portland team on Saturday.
