Pistons Vs. Trail Blazers Score Update: Detroit Up 11 On Portland At Half

The Detroit Pistons have played well through the first 24 minutes against the 9-6 Trail Blazers, leading at the half by 11, 54-43. A win would snap Detroit's five game home losing streak and four game losing streak overall. They have not beaten the Blazers since 2008.

The Pistons attacked the paint in the first half, scoring 16 points from within and getting to the free throw line 18 times to Portland's seven tries from the charity stripe. Taking advantage of good looks (and making them for the most part) is what has the Pistons shooting 55-percent at the break. (If only they could get Tayshaun Prince to stop shooting.)

Rodney Stuckey, who did not play last game with a groin injury, has 16 points on 5-for-7 shooting, three assists, and three rebounds. Jonas Jerebko has added nine points and three rebounds off the bench.

The Pistons' biggest concern coming in was stopping LeMarcus Aldridge. They haven't done a very good job of that -- he has 13 points -- but the rest of the Blazers are just 13-for-36 shooting (36-percent).
