It is a very short road trip, but the Detroit Pistons will take their 2-4 record on the 2011-12 NBA season to the City of Brotherly Love Friday night when they face the Philadelphia 76ers. The Pistons are coming off of a loss the Chicago Bulls and at 2-4, they need to pull off a win against Philadelphia to avoid falling too far behind this early in the season.

Philadelphia enters the game at 3-2, which is impressive because Friday night will finally be their home opener. Every other team in the NBA has played at least one home game so far, but Philadelphia started the year with a five game road trip to the west coast.

Currently the 76ers are fourth in the NBA in scoring, so a renewed defensive effort is paramount to success for Detroit tonight.
