Pistons Vs. Knicks Final: Detroit Blown Out By New York 101-79

In yet another gut-wrenching loss, the Detroit Pistons were thoroughly dominated by the New York Knicks 101-79 at the Garden on Saturday night. Veteran forward Tayshaun Prince was the clear poster child for the Pistons offensively throughout the game, and turned in one of his most dismal performances of the season (2-for-10, six points).

As a team, Detroit shot a mere 36.8% from the field and 31.6% from three-point range, and completely failed to take advantage of New York's inordinately-high 22 turnovers. Five Knicks players reached double figures in the scoring column, paced by Amar'e Stoudemire's 17 points.

Rookie point guard Brandon Knight continued his struggles with the ball, finishing with six giveaways and two assists in 32 minutes of action. A locked-in Ben Gordon remains the lone bright spot for the Pistons, and he led the way once again in the scoring column with 20 points.

Losers of five straight, and now sitting at 16-32 on the year, the 2012 NBA Draft lottery literally can't come soon enough for Joe Dumars and this Detroit Pistons organization.
