Pistons Vs. Grizzlies Final Score: Memphis Runs Away From Detroit In Fourth Quarter For 100-83 Win

The Detroit Pistons put together a strong effort on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies, only to get run over in the final six minutes of the game as Memphis outscored Detroit 31-13 in the fourth quarter to secure a 100-83 win.

The Pistons came out firing early and then hit some shooting woes but were still able to take a one point lead into the fourth quarter. But in the middle of the final quarter the Grizzlies kicked their game into another gear going on a 17-0 run fueled by a trio of three-pointers from reserve guard O.J. Mayo.

Mayo finished the game with 17 points while Quincy Pondexter pumped in 12 off the bench, as well as the Memphis second unit outscored their Detroit counterparts 31-11. Point guard Mike Conley paced the Grizzlies' starters with 10 points, 12 assists and four steals.

Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 20 points and four assists while Greg Monroe chipped in 14 points and 11rebounds.

Detroit heads home with a couple of days off before hosting Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
