The Detroit Pistons have had two full days to stew over their 30-point loss to the Dwight Howard-less Magic on Monday.
They'll try to bounce back Thursday against the Charlotte Bobcats, a team that lends itself to bouncing back.
The Bobcats, who are a league-worst 7-49, have lost 13 in a row. The losses seem to be getting worse: Charlotte lost to the 14-44 Washington Wizards by 28 at home, and then by 13 to a Cleveland Cavaliers team that had lost nine of 10.
Detroit has faded from the playoff race -- it is 8.5 games behind eighth-place New York -- but the Pistons are nonetheless in 10th place in the East and can still avoid falling into the cluttered Eastern Conference cellar.
Six teams, including the 21-36 Pistons, currently have 21 wins or fewer. Luckily for Detroit, three of those six are still on the schedule.
A Detroit win would give them a 4-0 sweep of the Bobcats on the season. The last time these teams played, Detroit won 110-107 in overtime.
Thursday's game starts at 7 ET and will air on Fox Sports Detroit.
