On Thursday night in Charlotte, the Pistons are closing out a tumultuous road trip that has seen them lose their last two games by a combined 53 points to the Heat and Magic. At the half, they are up 12 on the NBA's worst team, 52-40.
The Pistons have gotten their best player, Greg Monroe, more involved through the first two quarters. He leads all scorers with 15 points on 7-for-10 shooting; he has also pulled down seven rebounds. Jason Maxiell added 13 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting. Brandon Knight has five dishes.
The Bobcats, who have lost 13 straight games, have nine points from Derrick Brown.
