Pistons Schedule 2012: Detroit Looking To End Season Strong As Schedule Winds Down

With only six games remaining on their 2012 regular season schedule, the Detroit Pistons have a busy week ahead of themselves with three key games in consecutive days.

After a break on Monday, the Pistons will stay home and play host to division rival Cleveland on Tuesday before traveling down to Atlanta for a date with the Hawks 24 hours later. But of course, before they can put their feet up and relax after these back-to-back games, the Pistons will be forced to fly immediately back home for a Wednesday meeting with Minnesota to cap off a frenzied three-day span.

Clearly this rigorous schedule is the product of the NBA's shortened season, as it's clear that a road game sandwiched between a pair of home games is a bit of a stretch for anybody to be forced to deal with. With the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference well out of reach, the Pistons will be playing for pride over their final six games of the year.
