Pistons Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: Detroit Comeback Comes Up Short,

Playing their third game in as many nights and following a 32-point loss in Atlanta on Wednesday night, the Pistons had their hands full with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night, falling by 11, 91-80.

The Pistons trailed by as many as 23 in the fourth quarter, but came all the way back behind Will Bynum's 17 points to pull within five in the final moments. Unfortunately, that's as close as they would get as the Timberwolves hit a couple big shots and hit six of eight free throws to end their 11-game losing streak and win their first game in April.

Five Timberwolves scored in double figures and Jose Barea had a double-double with 13 points and 12 assists. Nikola Pekovic led all scorers with 23 points.

The Pistons were led by Tayshaun Prince with 18.

Detroit will have a couple days off now after three in a row and play next on Sunday against the Raptors.
