With injuries to Dwight Howard and LaMarcus Aldridge this season, the U.S. Olympic basketball team is looking to make a couple additions to bolster their front court heading into the summer. Amongst consideration was supposedly Pistons' center Greg Monroe, along with the Kings' DeMarcus Cousins and rising rookie Anthony Davis out of Kentucky. However, Monroe is no longer under consideration, according to Jeff Zillgitt of the USA Today:
Detroit Pistons forward Greg Monroe will not be one of two additions to Team USA's preliminary Olympic roster, according to person w/info.

Zillgitt also ruled out Indiana Pacers' big man Roy Hibbert, who played for Jamaica in 2010 and FIBA rules preclude players from playing for different countries at the senior level.
