NBA Summer League: Pistons Lose For The First Time To Thunder

The Detroit Pistons will not have a perfect run at Summer League in Orlando. They were blown out 83-62 by the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

There were a couple of bright spots for the Pistons, however. Austin Daye continued his string of strong performances with 18 points on 5-for-7 shooting. The forward shot 2-for-4 on threes and 6-for-7 from the free throw line.

Andre Drummond also had a solid outing, with 10 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as he battled Oklahoma City's Cole Aldrich on the inside. Eight of his points and six of his rebounds came in the first quarter.

Point guard Brandon Knight struggled, scoring 11 points on 5-for-17 shooting and turning the ball over five times.

Reggie Jackson, Lazar Hayward and Garrett Temple each scored 15 points for the Thunder.

Detroit will play the Boston Celtics on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. ET. The game can be seen on NBA TV.
