Ben Wallace was planning to retire after last season with the Detroit Pistons, but the retirement talk has increasingly cooled as the offseason progressed this summer and it now seems that he'll be back in the NBA as long as an NBA team wants to sign him.
Wallace gave more indication this weekend that he's looking to return, too, as the Boston Globe's Gary Washburn reported that Big Ben is ready for another season.
Veteran center Ben Wallace has indicated that he would like to return to the NBA but it likely won't be with the Pistons, who have begun a youth movement and plan to go with AndreDrummond, Austin Daye, and Jonas Jerebko as their primary big men. Wallace said he was retiring after last season but changed his mind in July and is looking for a deal.
This isn't exactly new news considering Wallace has been linked to a team in Greece this summer and that he was 50-50 on returning in mid-July, but there seems to be more credence being put into the reports now that it's been picked up by national outlets as well.
