Domination of the Anaheim Ducks and toppling the defending champs has the Red Wings on top of the NHL again. Sort of.
↵The Red Wings are first in ESPN.com's NHL power rankings for week 2, as Detroit beat the Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks by a combined 6-2 score in their first two games. The Wings supplanted Vancouver, who fell all the way to 15 after dropping a shootout to Los Angeles. It's still very early in the season, but it's nice to see the Wings on top regardless. Here's the top five for Week 2:
↵1. Detroit (2-0-0)
2. Carolina (2-0-0)
3. Dallas (2-0-0)
4. Toronto (2-0-0)
5. Philadelphia (1-0-1)
