Red Wings Top ESPN Power Rankings After 2-0 Start

Domination of the Anaheim Ducks and toppling the defending champs has the Red Wings on top of the NHL again. Sort of.

The Red Wings are first in ESPN.com's NHL power rankings for week 2, as Detroit beat the Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks by a combined 6-2 score in their first two games. The Wings supplanted Vancouver, who fell all the way to 15 after dropping a shootout to Los Angeles. It's still very early in the season, but it's nice to see the Wings on top regardless. Here's the top five for Week 2:
