Brad Richards netted a goal and two assists, while Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves, as the Dallas Stars defeated former franchise superstar Mike Modano and the Detroit Red Wings, 4-1, at American Airlines Center.

Johan Franzen Leaves Game In 1st Period With Injury
Detroit Red Wings center Johan Franzen left Thursday's game against the Dallas Stars in the first period after taking a hit to his head. Franzen left for the locker room late in the period, and the Wings announced soon after that he would not return to the game.

Red Wings At Stars: Mike Modano Set For Return To Dallas
Mike Modano's first game back in Dallas as a member of the Red Wings did not go well for his new team. Detroit looked quite bad in a 4-1 loss to the Stars. Also, Johan Franzen left early after taking an elbow to the head.
