Patrick Eaves, Brad Stuart and Tomas Holmstrom each had a goal for the Red Wings, who have won four of their last five. Chris Osgood made 23 saves in the win.
Kevin Kline and Joel Ward each lit the lamp for the Predators, who have dropped their past two. Pekka Rinne was tagged for all five goals on 28 shots in the loss.
