Todd Bertuzzi's Pair Of Goals Lift Red Wings Past Oilers

Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) – Todd Bertuzzi notched a pair of goals, including the go-ahead score late in regulation, as Detroit downed Edmonton, 5-3, at Rexall Place.

Darren Helm posted a goal and one helper, while Kris Draper and Henrik Zetterberg also lit the lamp for the Red Wings, who opened up a five-game road trip by snapping a two-game losing skid.

Chris Osgood was solid for the win, stopping 22-of-25 shots.

Gilbert Brule, Theo Peckham and Sam Gagner tallied for the Oilers, who have lost a season-high seven straight games.

Nikolai Khabibulin was dented for all five goals on 37 shots for the loss.
