After 37 games, the Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues are tied in the Western Conference with 47 points each. Saturday night, Detroit will try to jump ahead of St. Louis when they host the Blues at Joe Louis Arena.

While the teams are tied in the standings, the matchup is not necessarily an even one. The Red Wings are the best home team in the NHL, at 14-2-1, while the Blues are 7-8-3 on the road. St. Louis found out just how difficult it is to beat Detroit at Joe Louis Arena when they lost 3-2 on Tuesday.

Detroit has won four of its past five games at home against St. Louis, and they have won 11 straight this season at home. They have not lost at home since falling 3-1 to the Calgary Flames on Nov. 3.

The Red Wings return home after falling 3-2 to the Chicago Blackhawks on the road on Friday in a game in which Detroit blew two separate leads. Meanwhile, the Blues have lost two straight, following their loss in Detroit with a shootout loss to the Nashville Predators on Friday night.

The game is scheduled to start Saturday at 7:00 p.m. eastern time.
