The Red Wings will face a Central Division opponent on the road Tuesday night when they visit the St. Louis Blues. The blues are just two points behind Detroit in the Division, and the game will have a 7 p.m. national television audience on Versus.

Later in the week Detroit returns home to face the Phoenix Coyotes. This is a rematch of last season's first round playoff series which the Red Wings swept. The Red Wings will finish the week on Saturday night by hosting the Winnipeg Jets. It will be the first time Detroit will face the former Atlanta Thrashers since they moved to Winnipeg in the offseason.
