Red Wings Surrender 43 Shots In 4-3 Loss To Sharks

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) – Devin Setoguchi scored two goals, including the game-winning tally in the third period, as the San Jose Sharks held on for a 4-3 victory against the Detroit Red Wings.

Ryane Clowe and Joe Thornton also lit the lamp for San Jose, which has won four in a row and prevented the Red Wings from winning a sixth consecutive game.

Antti Niemi made 35 saves in the victory.

Danny Cleary tallied twice for Detroit, while Jimmy Howard let in four goals on 43 shots. Henrik Zetterberg potted a late goal on the power play off a cross-ice feed from Tomas Holmstrom to cut the lead to 4-3 with under two minutes left, but Detroit was unable to tie with Howard pulled for an extra skater.
