Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk is known for making some outrageous plays on the ice. He is very creative when it comes to deking around opponents, and sometimes he will go to some amazing lengths to try to put the puck in the net.
↵On Sunday in Chicago, Datsyuk showed off his skills yet again. In the third period, he put on a show in the Blackhawks zone, once deking around four defenders to set up a scoring chance. He had another scoring chance later in the period by putting a move on three defenders to get to the front of the net. Neither plays resulted in goals, but they were nice to watch.
↵One play that did result in a goal for Datsyuk came in the second period. Datsyuk had his left glove knocked off and seconds later the puck was right in front of him. The lack of a glove on one hand didn't faze Datsyuk, who quickly shot the puck and put it right past Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford for a goal. Check it out:
↵↵Now that is what I call a Datsyukian play.
