NHL Playoffs 2011: Western Conference Finals Schedule Announced

Only one series in the second round of the 2011 NHL playoffs is still going -- Red Wings vs. Sharks. The other three series have already been decided. The Boston Bruins will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference finals, and the Vancouver Canucks have one of the spots in the Western Conference finals.

Although Vancouver's opponent hasn't been determined just yet, the NHL went ahead and announced the schedule for both of the conference finals. The schedule for the Bruins/Lightning series is obviously set in stone, but the schedule for the Canucks' series differs based on if their opponent is Detroit or San Jose. Since this won't exactly be relevant for Wings fans if Vancouver ends up playing San Jose, here is a look at the schedule if Detroit advances:

Game 1: Red Wings at Canucks - Sunday, May 15, 8 p.m. (Versus, CBC, RDS)

Game 2: Red Wings at Canucks - Wednesday, May 18, 9 p.m. (Versus, CBC, RDS)

Game 3: Canucks at Red Wings - Friday, May 20, 8 p.m. (Versus, CBC, RDS)

Game 4: Canucks at Red Wings - Sunday, May 22, 3 p.m. (NBC, CBC, RDS)

*Game 5: Red Wings at Canucks - Tuesday, May 24, 9 p.m. (Versus, CBC, RDS)

*Game 6: Canucks at Red Wings - Thursday, May 26, 8 p.m. (Versus, CBC, RDS)

*Game 7: Red Wings at Canucks - Saturday, May 28, 8 p.m. (Versus, CBC, RDS)

*If necessary
