Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock has set his lineup for Game 7 against the Sharks. It does not include Johan Franzen, who missed Game 6 due to an ankle injury. Franzen took part in the pre-game skate earlier on Thursday, but he will not play in the final game of this series.
Taking Franzen's spot in the lineup on Thursday is Kris Draper, who was a healthy scratch for Game 6. Mike Modano made his series debut on Tuesday in place of Franzen, but it appears Modano is going to once again sit. Jiri Hudler was Draper's replacement for Game 6, but it looks as though both Draper and Hudler will get action in Game 7. Babcock didn't announce anything except the Franzen/Draper news, though.
So far there is no word on the status of Sharks forward Ryane Clowe, who didn't even make the trip to Detroit for Game 6. He was allegedly dealing with flu-like symptoms, although there is much speculation that the monstrous hit he received from Niklas Kronwall in Game 5 was the reason for his absence.
