Update On Health Of Dan Cleary, Todd Bertuzzi

In the Detroit Red Wings' Game 7 loss to the San Jose Sharks, forwards Dan Cleary and Todd Bertuzzi both left after suffering separate on-ice collisions. Bertuzzi got a concussion when he checked San Jose's Dany Heatley and Cleary suffered a concussion after teammate Jiri Hudler accidentally ran him over with a shoulder directly to the head.

It has been a week since the injuries and already Cleary has recovered. Actually, Cleary was back to normal on Tuesday when he passed a baseline concussion test. That's a good sign, because you never know how long the effects of a concussion can linger (just ask Andreas Lilja or Sidney Crosby).

Bertuzzi's recovery isn't going quite as fast. He isn't back to normal just yet, although Ken Holland did say that Bertuzzi is "getting better every day." Hopefully he too will be healthy soon, allowing him to start working out in preparation for next season.
