Jaromir Jagr's Decision Could Come On Thursday

The Detroit Free Press' Helene St. James caught up with Petr Svoboda, who is Jaromir Jagr's agent, on Thursday morning. The last we heard from Svoboda, he was trying to figure out where Jagr is just like the rest of us.

It appears Svoboda did indeed manage to get in contact with Jagr, because this is the update Svoboda provided on the situation on Thursday morning:

"Jaromir just flew into New York last night," Svoboda told the Free Press. "Now we are going to start negotiating a little more today.

"It is not for sure that something will happen today, but there is a chance."

If Jagr is still negotiating, that dispels the rumors about him already having a deal in place with the Penguins. Of course, it's always possible that he had an agreement with the Pens but now wants a higher salary or something like that.

I guess for now we're just going to have to wait and see what happens because "Jagr Watch," as it's being billed, could continue into Friday.
