Tonight was the NHL All-Star Player Fantasy Draft for this weekend's NHL All-Star game. Zdeno Chara of the Boston Bruins and Daniel Alfredsson of the hometown Ottawa Senators are the two teams' captains and made the selections with their assistant captains Joffrey Lopul and Henrik Lundqvist, respectively.
Chara made Pavel Datsyuk the first pick overall and selected Datsyuk's teammate Jimmy Howard in Round 10.
