2012 NHL All-Star Game Score Update: 6-6 Tie Going Into Third Period

Jimmy Howard is out of the goal for Team Chara, but each team scored three goals once again as Team Chara and Team Alfredsson are tied 6-6 at the second intermission of the 2012 NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa. Marian Gaborik already has a hat trick for Team Chara.

Pavel Datsyuk, the lone representative from the Detroit Red Wings in the game, has a second assist on the night. once again, he assisted on the first goal of the period, and it was Gaborik that added the goal. That gave Team Chara a 4-3 lead just 1:23 into the second period.

Team Alfredsson saw its namesake score twice in the period to eventually take a 6-5 lead, but Team Chara tied it back up with 1:36 left in the period on a goal by Patrick Kane. Datsyuk has taken one shot on goal, but missed it.
