Red Wings Vs. Ducks Final Score: Anaheim Hands Detroit Third Straight Loss, 4-0

The Detroit Red Wings lost their third straight and eighth in their last 11 games on Wednesday night by getting shut out by a non-contender, 4-0.

Despite getting Todd Bertuzzi back, the Red Wings got shellacked by the likes of Kyle Palmieri, who scored twice, Ryan Getzlaf and Teemu Selanne.

Joey MacDonald started in net for the Wings and allowed all four goals on 24 shots. Jonas Hiller picked up his 15th career shutout for the Ducks.

The Red Wings are now only up two points on Nashville for the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference standings. If they don't get healthy and turn this thing around in the final 11 games, they're going to lose home ice for the playoffs. The Wings close out their road trip in San Jose on Saturday.
