Red Wings Vs. Kings: Detroit Ties It 2-2 In The Second Period

Skating onto the ice for the second period, the Red Wings faced a one-goal deficit as they tried to halt a two-game losing skid. With three-quarters of the second period gone, Detroit scored their second goal of the game to tie it up at 2-2.

Henrik Zetterberg again took care of the scoring for the Wings. He picked up his second goal of the game and 18th of the season on a short wristshot. He was assisted by assisted by Valtteri Filppula and Niklas Kronwall. It was Filppula's second assist of the game.

The Red Wings managed just five shots on net, but made it count. The Kings put seven shots on goal.
