The veteran Gill played in 23 games for the Predators after starting the season with the Montreal Canadiens. He had 13 points this season.
Without Gill, Nashville will look to get a road win to push the series score to 3-1 against the Detroit Red Wings. The Predators won Game 3 on Sunday by a score of 3-2.
