Red Wings Vs. Predators Game 4 Score Update: No Scoring Through First Period

The Red Wings desperately need a Game 4 win at Joe Louis Arena and seem to have picked up where they left when they controlled the latter half of the action in Game 3, but through the first period there is no score.

The Red Wings have won 15 of the 27 face-offs and have an 11-7 shot advantage, but they couldn't light the lamp. Detroit was 0-for-3 on the power play. The Predators did not have their first shot on goal until almost four minutes into the game and were 0-for-2 with a man advantage.

Detroit had a few quality chances to Pekka Rinne's right, but each time the Wings couldn't sneak it by his pads. The Red Wings need to keep the pressure on in the second period and hope they can catch a break.
