The second that the 2012 NHL season ends, it's inevitable that betting odds for the next season are going to be put out ASAP. Following the Los Angeles Kings' win of the Stanley Cup, Bovada has put out the Cup odds for 2013 and the Detroit Red Wings are, as ever, sitting near the top of the pack.
Despite losing Nicklas Lidstrom and possibly a few more of their all star cast this off-season, the Wings come in as a 12/1 bet to win it all, sitting only behind the Pittsburgh Penguins (7/1) and the defending champion Kings (11/1). They're tied at the 12/1 mark with the New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks and two other teams from the Central division, Chicago and St. Louis.
Sitting at the bottom of the league are the Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild and New York Islanders, with the three teams sharing 75/1 odds.
