Nicklas Lidstrom Thanks Detroit With Full-Page Ad

Nicklas Lidstrom retired from hockey on Thursday. In Sunday's Detroit Free Press, he said goodbye to Metro Detroit by taking out a full-page ad to thank everybody for making his family "feel at home for the past 21 years." It was another classy move by Lidstrom, who closed out the message by saying that he and Annika, his wife, are "proud to claim that we are also from Detroit."
