If you watch the Detroit Tigers regularly, chances are you know Brandon Inge has an occasional habit of striking out at the plate. He's become so proficient with it, he's about to set the all-time Tigers strikeout record.
↵↵↵Inge has 1,098 career strikeouts with Detroit, just one behind Lou Whitaker (1,099). Whitaker had 8,570 at-bats in 19 seasons for the Tigers, while Inge has 4,305.

Inge will have six more games to break the record, and judging by his stats he'll more than likely get it. Inge has struck out 123 times in 482 at-bats this season--that's a strikeout in 25 percent of his at-bats.
