Thanks to their 5-2 win on Tuesday night, the Detroit Tigers are right back in the ALCS. Had they lost Game 3 and went down 3-0 in the series, the chances of a comeback would have been slim, but now they have a chance to even the series up before Game 5 in Detroit on Thursday.
The biggest question mark going into Game 4 is the health of Victor Martinez and Delmon Young, who are both dealing with oblique injuries. Young missed Tuesday's game, and Martinez was in visible pain after a home run in the fourth inning. He was able to finish the game, but his status for Game 4 wasn't immediately known.
As it stands right now, both players are in the lineup for Game 4. Of course, Young was also in the original lineup for Game 3 before being scratched, so things can obviously change. For now, though, they are both expected to play.
