2012 World Series Odds Have Detroit Tigers Near The Top

New, 1 comment

The 2012 World Series odds have already been released despite this year's championship series just recently coming to a close. In a move that isn't all that surprising, the Detroit Tigers are listed toward the top of the betting rankings.

The Tigers are 14-to-1 odds according to Bodog, placing them in a tie for fifth as far as which team's have the best chance at winning next season's World Series. The four teams ahead of the Tigers are the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox and the Texas Rangers.

The fact that Vegas is giving the Tigers the same odds to win the World Series as the reigning champion St. Louis Cardinals probably says something. Whether that's that the oddsmakers are certain Albert Pujols will be donning a different jersey next season or that the Tigers are going to be a really good team is still up in the air.

Either way, if you're a person that likes to bet on things, there is your chance to make some money.
