New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi pulled starting pitcher Ivan Nova after just two innings of Game 5 on Thursday night. Nova gave up back-to-back home runs in the first inning and a double in the second inning, but it was pretty surprising that Girardi gave him the hook so quickly.

UPDATE: It turned out that Nova had a tight throwing forearm and was pulled due to that.
